Nomination Guidance Notes - A.G.M. 2011

Special Nomination Forms are to be found printed in your Rally Handbook or can be obtained from the Hon. Secretary.

Nominations for
Centre Officers, Main Committee, Ladies, Youth and Sports Sub-Committees, signed by the Nominee, must be received in writing by the Hon. Secretary, not later than 14 days prior to the Meeting i.e. mid-day Saturday 17th September, 2011. Notices of Motion (proposed and seconded) for inclusion on the Agenda of the Meeting must be received by the Hon. Secretary not later than 35 days before the Meeting i.e. Saturday, 27th August, 2011.

Only Members and subscribing Family Members of the West Wales Centre, who have submitted a current and valid Centre Registration Card to the Hon. Secretary at least 35 days prior to the A.G.M., will be permitted to speak and vote.

The Club’s Constitution does not forbid the admission of Caravan Club Members’ families or Members from visiting Centres.

It is hoped that Full and Family Members will nominate Members of the Centre for the various posts of Centre Officers, Main Committee and Sub-Committees, all of which become vacant at each A.G.M.

You should, in the first instance, ascertain if the person you wish to nominate is eligible, and also willing to serve, before the form is submitted to the Hon. Secretary. It is, therefore, necessary to obtain the signature of each Nominee to indicate that they are willing to accept the nomination.

It is also suggested that you should not nominate persons who are unknown to you, and it is not necessary to nominate someone for every post of Officer or Committee. At the A.G.M. each nominee will be introduced, so as to assist the Members before they vote.

Your Nomination Form, duly signed by yourself and your Nominees, must be received by the Hon Secretary, not later than mid-day Saturday 17th September, 2011, otherwise it will be invalid.
